Another capsized boat call into TPD, 1/4 mile south of bridge (Assuming Max Brewer).

As usual, these calls seem to be a mass amount of confusion and miss-information. This call is still being worked on TPD. Apparently there’s a caller located on the island and one on land..

TPD is now confirming people in the water.

Overnight crash in Brevard County leaves 1 dead, troopers say

One person died Sunday after an overnight crash on I-95 in Brevard County, according to officials from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a 2004 Honda motorcycle was traveling south on I-95 and hit a guardrail near mile marker 193. The rider, a 26-year-old man from Cocoa, was ejected from the motorcycle onto the grass on the shoulder of the road, according to the crash report. Officials have not released the man’s name.

The medical examiner said the crash happened sometime after midnight, though the victim was not found until 6:30 a.m. 

Authorities are still investigating the crash.

SAY WHAT?? Titusville manhunt: Kenneth Lamar Bell

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A judge granted bail to a known Titusville fugitive, who investigators said was armed and dangerous.

Police and U.S. marshals arrested Kenneth Lamar Bell, 27, Friday after he allegedly crashed into an unmarked Titusville police vehicle when authorities tried to arrest him at a gas station Friday around noon, investigators said.

UPDATE: Violent Felon Captured after Lengthy Search

An extensive search for a suspect who crashed his vehicle into an unmarked police truck, and who was considered armed and dangerous with an active Federal Arrest Warrant, culminated in the arrest of two suspects and the seizure of a loaded handgun, approximately 200 grams of Heroin, 30 grams of Cocaine, and $2400.00 in cash.

The incident began just before 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 20th when Titusville Detectives, assisting the U.S. Marshall Service, attempted to block a vehicle from leaving the Mobile Mart on Cheney Hwy that was occupied by two wanted individuals. The Nissan Maxima the suspects were in collided with a Detective’s truck. The driver fled on foot across Cheney Hwy. A passenger in the vehicle attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.

A large perimeter was set up by additional officers to include a several block area near Cheney Hwy and Sisson Rd. After an intensive door to door search by members of the SWAT team and Detectives, the suspect was located hiding in a shed at a mobile home residence at Whispering Pines Park on Cheney Hwy at 3:30 p.m.

KENNETH LAMAR BELL, 28, who was the subject of the search, was charged with:  Aggravated Battery; and Resisting Arrest.

LARON JOHNSON JR., 29, of Orlando, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with: Trafficking Cocaine; Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon; Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, and Resisting an Officer.

Both suspects, who have extensive felony arrests histories, were booked into Brevard County Jail.

Titusville Officers are working with BCSO and the U.S. Marshall Service to locate a violent felony suspect last seen in the area of Cheney Hwy (SR50) and Sisson Road. A large law enforcement perimeter has been set up in the area and numerous undercover officers are searching the area on foot. The Suspect is: KENNETH LAMAR BELL, 28, 5’7′, 150 LBS. last seen wearing a white tank top, Khaki shorts with visible red underwear, running east/south from Cheney and Sisson Rd. Suspect crashed his vehicle into an unmarked Titusville police vehicle during an attempt by US Marshalls and Titusville Detectives to arrest him in the parking lot of the Mobile Mart, 460 Cheney Hwy at approximately 11:50 a.m. today. Suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone spotting him should not approach him and call 911. ###
